OPTIONS FOR FOOD:
If you'd rather eat before (or want a change of scene after but want to stay close), we suggest The Garage on 7th Ave. just down 7th Ave. to the left, Sushi Samba on 7th Ave slightly farther down the street to the left, The Riviera Cafe literally across the street, and Agave also across the street on 7th Ave, but further down to the right. If you're not getting to food until much later in the evening, or want a little more peace and quiet, look to Manatus Diner just a block over at 340 Bleecker St., open 24 hours and we strongly recommend the New Orleans Chicken, which we call chicken & cream and you should too. (And those are really just a fraction of your options - it's the village on a weekend - you've got lots to choose from.)
TRANSIT:
West Side - take the #1 train to Christopher Street; or the A-C-E-B-D-F to West 4th and walk west to 7th Ave.
East Side – take the #4, #5, or #6 trains to the 42nd St. Shuttle; shuttle west and catch the #1 downtown to Christopher
